Francinia Henry, MPA, LMSWCommunity Support Coordinator
Francinia Henry completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She holds bachelor’s degrees in African and African American Studies and Sociology in addition to master’s degrees in Public Administration and Social Work along with certifications in Public Service, Social and Economic Justice, Nonprofit Leadership, and Child Welfare. She is especially sensitive to the political, structural, economic, and institutional factors that define, impact, and shape services to populations. Francinia has specialized in ethnographic and sociological studies, policy research, project management, and community outreach. She also served as the community engagement consultant leading the outreach component for multiple planning projects in New Orleans. She is a Licensed Master Level Social Worker, with liability insurance through the National Association of Social Workers Risk Retention Group. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, crafting, volunteering, and spending time with her family and friends. She lives in New Orleans East with her husband and daughter. |
